DESCRIPTION OF THE GAME 

Code d’Athos is a fencing game based on physics and ragdoll.

 

The game consists of a series of duels in 2D in which the player will fight various enemies in order to become stronger.

WHAT DID I DO ? 

Game Designer | Balancing | QA | Playtests

I mainly made the design documents of the gameplay mechanics and also for the AI and feedbacks from the fights. Then on the Unity game engine I entered all these values. We also conducted playtests, which allowed us to question ourselves in terms of game design. I do also QA and balencing.

Game Design

Here's the design document I created with the game designer team.

this document explains everything about the player side combat (controls, fights, positions)

Document explaining all data concerning the ia (enemy attacks, hit lists, IA behavior)

Document explaining visual and audio feedback from the fight

To create our enemies, we iterated in table form (Rational Conception Process).

Balancing 

To balence our game, we created a document listing all these values.

Playtest

We organized playtests to gather feedback on our game, and to do this we created a google form to collect opinions. Then we created a table to sort out the most relevant opinions.
